JOB SUMMARY:

The Business Continuity Manager is responsible for developing, maintaining and managing the company's business continuity program. The person will support all activities necessary to enable the Firm to respond to a business interruption.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Within the context of a matrix organization, develop and maintain a corporate wide business continuity program that addresses disaster recovery, business recovery, availability and incident response management.
• Develop, produce and update BCP/DR materials and documentation (e.g., plans, schedules, emergency/incident response procedures, call lists, test results, etc.).
• Plan and coordinate all business continuity, technical and user testing.
• Work closely with Business and IT to develop/maintain BCP plans for critical business functions, systems and applications and to ensure that internal recovery sites are updated and functioning properly.
• Liaise with Business Continuity Coordinators to develop effective working relationships.
• Perform risk analyses for functional areas to identify points of vulnerability, single points of failure and identify risk avoidance and mitigation strategies.
• Assist in with incident/crisis management in the event of a business interruption.
• Provide contractual compliance support and ensure contractual obligations are addressed and included in BCP/DR plans
• Develop status reports (e.g., report cards) on departmental continuity plans and prepare management reports as necessary.
• Analyze and report on implications of regulatory requirements and industry guidance on BCP/DR programs.
